🌸🎓 Graduation 2026 🎓🌸

As the new term is approaching, we would like to take a moment to celebrate all of our children who are graduating this year to go to school.

What a beautiful graduation celebration we had! Thank you so much to all of our families who joined us to celebrate this very special milestone and we are so proud of each and every one of you. It has been amazing watching you grow and blossom into the wonderful little people you are today.

We wish you all the very best as you begin your next exciting chapter at school. We know you will be amazing!

We are incredibly proud to share that Sara Thakrar, Director and Co-founder of Blossom Tree Montessori, has been invited to join the judging panel for the Nursery World Awards 2026 🏆✨

After winning the Nursery Food of the year Award in 2025, we are honoured to be part of recognising and celebrating the other incredible early years settings.

💛💚 The Colour Monster 🩷❤️

One of our favourite books at Blossom Tree is the Colour Monster and this week, the children explored emotions and colour through our themed tuff tray.

This linked really well with our colour activity using pipettes, paint and cotton pads. The children used their pipettes to squeeze and mix the paints while choosing colours linked to different emotions from the story. We had lots of lovely conversations about feeling happy, calm, sad, scared and angry, helping the children to express and understand their emotions through play and creativity.

🐴 Petting Farm 🐑

Each year, we love welcoming the Petting Farm to our branches and it is always one of the most exciting days for the children. They have the chance to meet the animals up close, pet them, feed them, brush them and learn lots of fun facts. It is a wonderful hands on experience filled with smiles and excitement!

🐛 Life Cycles 🦋

This week, we were very excited to welcome some caterpillars to Blossom Tree! The children are currently learning all about life cycles and now have the wonderful opportunity to observe one up close as they watch the caterpillars grow.

The children have also been enjoying a range of activities and tuff trays based on life cycles, helping them explore through hands on learning and discovery.

🌍 Happy Earth Day! 🌍

Yesterday we celebrated Planet Earth with a range of fun and engaging activities. The children explored beautiful tuff trays, enjoyed getting creative with junk modelling and learned about the importance of looking after our planet. We talked about how recycling is one simple way we can all make a difference.

🐰 Hoppy Easter! 🐰

The children have had so much fun this week celebrating Easter and taking part in different activities! We have had an Easter Bonnet Parade, they've explored sensory tuff trays, taken part in different arts and crafts and listened to lots of stories about Easter.
