A level & BTEC Results Day 2026!
We couldn’t be prouder of our students and their fantastic achievements!

This year, 26% of all A level grades were A/A*, with an excellent 98% A*–E pass rate.

Head student Luke achieved A*A A* and an A* in his EPQ, securing his place to study Law at the University of Cambridge.

We have two students who will go on to study medicine and surgery, while 18 students have accepted offers at UCL, Bristol, Warwick and King’s College London, studying subjects from English to aerospace engineering. An incredible 31 students will be progressing to courses in psychology.

We were also delighted to welcome Mayor of Enfield, Cllr Emma Supple, and Cllr Chris Dey, Cabinet Member for Children’s Services, who joined us to celebrate results day.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 – we are incredibly proud of you all!

Rowan House hosted the final Cuisine Day of the school year in the last week of term, bringing a taste of Spain to Highlands. Students enjoyed a delicious menu featuring a vibrant, tangy paella packed with authentic Mediterranean flavours, providing a fantastic way to round off another successful year of celebrating cuisines from around the world.

Congratulations to Aaliyah in year 9, who has successfully achieved her Level 2 qualification in British Sign Language (BSL). This is an outstanding achievement and reflects her dedication and hard work.

Aaliyah, along with a small group of our BSL students, will be progressing to our brand new Level 3 BSL course, which launches at Highlands in September.

We wish them every success as they continue developing their signing skills.

On Friday 10th July, Manav and Tish in year 10 were invited to play cricket for Enfield Grammar School against the MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club). The MCC were founded in 1787 and are a members only cricket club based at Lords, the home of England and Middlesex cricket club.

To play against the MCC is a real honour and both of the boys played extremely well despite the scores suggesting a one sided match.

Thank you to Enfield Grammar for the invitation and hospitality.

Our year 12 work experience week was a tremendous success, with every student gaining valuable insight into the world of work. Students completed placements across a wide range of industries, including law, healthcare, engineering, finance, media, technology, construction and the Civil Service, while others took part in high-quality virtual programmes. Employers praised our students' professionalism, enthusiasm and willingness to learn, with several students even being offered opportunities to stay connected for future work experience or career pathways.

The week provided an invaluable opportunity for students to develop their skills, explore future careers and prepare for life beyond sixth form.

The students in first year GCSE had a challenge to create a recipe with a yeasted dough in an hour and forty-five minutes. They did exceptionally well with many creative dishes such as cinnamon twists, pretzels, brioche burger buns and even bao buns.

An excellent display of skills from all students involved.
