🌟🌟Today we are celebrating an exceptional set of GCSE results - our best-ever GCSE results! 🌟🌟

A huge congratulations to our Year 11 students. After five years of hard work, growth, challenge and perseverance, today they can see the outcome of everything they have put into their GCSE journey. It has been wonderful to see the proud smiles, excited reactions and genuine joy across the school.

Behind every grade is a story of commitment, resilience and support. Whether celebrating exceptional grades, a personal best or overcoming challenges to reach their goals, we are incredibly proud of every member of Year 11.

Our heartfelt thanks go to our dedicated staff, and to parents, carers and families, for their guidance, encouragement and support throughout the journey. Their care, commitment and belief in our students have played an important part in helping them reach this moment, and we are hugely grateful for all they have done.

These results continue an exceptional year of achievement for our school, following the outstanding A-level results we celebrated earlier this summer.

Our students have worked with determination, resilience and integrity, and their results are a wonderful reflection of the commitment and hard work they have shown throughout their time at Tiffin. We are delighted to celebrate their academic success and the exciting opportunities that lie ahead, including places at leading universities and a wide range of next steps.

At Tiffin, we believe education is about much more than examination results. Alongside their academic achievements, we are proud of the young adults our students have become – they have embraced challenge, supported one another and made a positive contribution to our school community.

We would like to thank our outstanding staff for their dedication and expertise, and our parents and carers for the encouragement and support they have given our students throughout their time at Tiffin.

**Celebrating our amazing Year 13 students!**

Last week, we celebrated the dedication, resilience and achievements of our Year 13 cohort as they reached the end of their Sixth Form journey.

Awards recognised not only academic success, but also leadership, commitment, personal growth and the many contributions that have enriched school life. The celebrations then continued in the sunshine in the Head’s Garden, where students, families, carers and staff came together to reflect, celebrate and look ahead to the future.

We are incredibly proud of everything our Year 13 students have achieved and wish them every success in the next chapter.

For the first time in the school’s history, Tiffin’s top rowing crew has qualified for the Fawley Challenge Cup at the 2026 Henley Royal Regatta (HRR), becoming the first Tiffin crew to secure pre-qualification for the event.

After an amazingly consistent and high performing season, Tiffin’s top quad will represent the school at HRR, the most prestigious rowing event in the world.

Well done to Lucas, Jesper, Vlad and Tom on their fantastic achievement.

What a truly spectacular night we had at our Annual Alumni Summer Drinks, enjoyed in the beautiful summer sun in the Head’s Garden surrounded by fantastic company!

It was incredible to see our community span generations, with alumni attending from the Class of 2024 all the way back to the Class of 1963! Glasses were raised and endless Tiffin stories were swapped late into the evening.

The evening was made even more special with the official unveiling of our brand-new MUGA 2 (Multi-Use Games Area). We were honoured to have alumni and significant major donor Mark Brown cut the ribbon and officially open the facility. A massive thank you to Mark and everyone whose incredible generosity makes projects like this possible for the next generation.

Thank you to everyone who came down to make the night so memorable. Once a Tiffinian, always a Tiffinian!

Last week, our students learned that they could save a life, just by being their unique selves. They had a Hero Project visit from Anthony Nolan Charity to learn about the power of stem cell donation and were given the opportunity to join the stem cell register. We’re so proud that 83 of them decided to become potential lifesavers.

We welcomed alumni Rob Henderson into Tiffin for only the second time since he left over 35 years ago.

Rob had a distinguished rugby career, representing a host of top clubs before representing Ireland 29 times. The pinnacle of his rugby career came in 2001 when he received 3 caps for the British and Irish Lions.

We were delighted to hang Rob’s signed shirt on the wall in the Sports Centre, inspiring the next generation of Tiffin students. Rob now runs his own consultancy firm.

Amazing opportunity for our U15s last week as they took part in a special training session with England Rugby Head Coach Steve Borthwick.

The boys were put through their paces in conditioned games focused on speed of ball, catch/pass skills and intensity, before enjoying a Q&A and photos with Steve, who praised the squad for both their ability and behaviour.

An unforgettable experience and a fantastic chance for the team to learn from one of the very best!

Wishing our Year 11 students the very best as they head off on study leave this week.

We marked the occasion with a celebration assembly of awards, words of wisdom from teachers, and lots of laughter.
