Supply Chain Event 2014 in Paris on 26 & 27 November 2014.
The Supply Chain Foundation (SCF) was present at this event which gathered hundreds of Supply Chain professionals at the CNIT. It was comforting to see that Supply Chain has now been fully adopted in France.
Two large companies showed the importance of skills development and the pivotal role of competency framework. It took them months to develop such models while they could simply have used the SCF ones: why reinvente the wheel? What matters is speed and cost.
