Continuing our trip down memory lane this ...

Here are some of our favourite shots from INTERArts – a project we ran in 2010-2011 with Age UK

Younger and older le***an, gay, bisexual, transgender and genderq***r people met up to explore ageing in relation to gender and sexuality through art.

Together, we created an amazing exhibition of live performances, installation art, photography, poster art and film!

What would you create? Let us know in the comments below!

This LGBT+ History Month, we’re looking back at the Gendered Intelligence history we’ve made from the early days of 2007 to today.

We’re famous for our summer youth camps – free camping trips for young trans and non-binary people. But back in 2010, we held our first-ever Summer Camp!

It’s been 15 years since then, and it’s been a privilege to watch these young people grow into incredible, confident adults.

Here are some of our favourite moments from that first camp.

What are your favourite camp memories? Let us know in the comments below.

It's and it's time to talk cervical screening - also known as a smear test.

It's for anyone with a cervix over the age of 25 and can stop cancer before it starts.

Around 1 in 4 trans people with a cervix don’t get screened often enough - or at all. This means we’re more at risk of late diagnosis of cervical cancer, which can mean more serious illness or death.

Trans people also face additional barriers, like not getting invited for screening because of the gender marker on their medical records.

You may also be worried about stigma or anxious about the appointment itself.

Most cervical smear tests are done at your GP, but if you prefer, you can go to a sexual health clinic that offers cervical screening. Some clinics specialise in health services for trans and non-binary people.

Find a sexual health clinic in England or Wales: https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/sexual-health-services/find-a-sexual-health-clinic/ and in

Find a sexual health clinic in Scotland:
https://www.nhsinform.scot/scotlands-service-directory/sexual-health-clinics

There are lots of steps trans people can take to create a better screening experience. Take a look at OUTpatients tips (https://outpatients.org.uk/tnbgd-screening/), and book your cervical screening today! It could save your life.
