Kids feel stress too and it can be tough to understand. Today, let’s talk about what we can do to help.

Here are some super easy, stress-busting tips to help calm your mind and body!

- Belly Breathing: Imagine blowing up a big balloon! Place your hands on your belly, breathe in slowly, and feel it rise. Then, let the air out gently like a soft breeze.
- Squeeze & Release: Make a tight fist with your hands, hold for a few seconds, and then let go. Feel the tension slip away!
- Beastie Buddy Time: Grab your favorite cozy friend or something that makes you feel safe. Spend a quiet moment together.

Take a deep breath, give it a try, and remember, you’ve got this! 💙

Who’s feeling like Leta and Numba today? The Jumble Twins sometimes struggle with things that feel confusing or frustrating, but they remind us it’s okay to ask for help when we need it. It’s also a good reminder that everyone thinks in their own way, and we all have things we’re great at!

An incredible report on the impact of Book of Beasties' workshops and the Happy Heads Card Game on kids AND adults in Derbyshire.

More proof that Book of Beasties is one of the most effective play-based emotional wellbeing tools available for children today.

“I recently introduced the Happy Heads Game to a small group of children with SEND. The game helped them open up about their emotions, and we’ve noticed a significant improvement in how they manage stress and communicate their feelings in such a short space of time. It’s a fantastic resource for fostering emotional literacy.”

🌟 Reach for the Stars with Crescent Pose! 🌙

Let’s stretch together and feel tall like the moon! The Crescent Pose is a fun way to:

✨ Stretch your sides and arms
✨ Improve your balance and posture
✨ Feel calm and strong with each breath

Here’s how to do it:
- Breathe in and raise your arms above your head, bringing your palms together.
- Breathe out and gently lean to one side, like a crescent moon. 🌙
- Breathe in again as you come back to standing tall.
- Breathe out and lean to the other side.
- Keep going, slow and steady! Feel the stretch on each side.

It’s a perfect way to feel calm and powerful, just like the moon lighting up the night! 🌙✨
