🦖🌿 ROAR-SOME DISCOVERIES: INTO THE WORLD OF DINOSAURS! 🌿🦕Our little palaeontologists travelled millions of years back in time as we recreated our very own prehistoric world! 🌋🦴We investigated what dinosaurs ate, where they lived and how their environments may have looked, while comparing their incredible differences in size, shape and length. We used mathematical language such as bigger, smaller, longer, shorter, heavier, lighter, more and less to make comparisons between our prehistoric creatures. 📏🔢We became fossil detectives too! 🦴🔍 We explored how fossils can form over an incredibly long period of time and how palaeontologists discover clues about dinosaurs that lived millions of years ago.Using books and illustrations, we identified different dinosaurs and examined their distinctive features, from sharp teeth and powerful claws to long necks and enormous tails. 📖🦖Then it was time to ROAR! 🎭 The children transformed into different dinosaurs, experimenting with movements, sounds and behaviours, while thinking about how dinosaurs might have interacted with one another.Through imaginative play, we developed scientific thinking, mathematical reasoning, communication and creativity — proving that sometimes the best learning happens when you let your imagination go prehistoric! 🌋✨
