At the AMBA & BGA Programme Excellence Conference 2026, Olta Muçaj, Head of International Partnerships, EMEA & APAC at Ready Education, will explore how business schools can build a learning relationship that continues throughout a graduate’s career.

Her session, ‘One Community, Not One Degree: How a Digital Campus Keeps the Learning Relationship Alive After Graduation’, will look at how shared student and alumni communities, lasting co-curricular records and engagement data can help turn a single degree into a long-term learning ecosystem.

🌎 Final-day highlights from in Lima

The final day of the AMBA & BGA Latin America Deans & Directors Conference 2026 brought three days of discussion, learning and connection to a close, with another morning of insights into the future of business education.

🤖 Alejo Baltasar Rodríguez Cacio, Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, introduced Laura, a human-centred AI teaching assistant designed to complement the work of professors and teaching assistants in the MBA classroom.

🌱 Jose Mosquera, University Externado de Colombia, explored how student engagement can help strengthen responsible supply chains, demonstrating how students can apply their learning while supporting organisations with real-world sustainability challenges.

🎓 Margarita Feijoo, Pacífico Business School, Universidad del Pacífico, shared an approach to developing leaders through personal transformation, managerial capabilities and impact, before Jose M. Martinez-Sierra, UPF Barcelona School of Management, explored how greater collaboration between Spain and Latin America can create new opportunities for talent mobility, executive education, research and lifelong learning.

As the conference comes to a close, thank you to everyone who made possible: our speakers, delegates, sponsors and partners, and our host schools CENTRUM PUCP Business School, ESAN Graduate School of Business, PAD Escuela de Dirección at Universidad de Piura, and Pacífico Business School at Universidad del Pacífico.

🌎 Highlights from Day 2 of in Lima

Day 2 of the AMBA & BGA Latin America Deans & Directors Conference 2026 brought another full day of insight, discussion and connection, exploring some of the forces reshaping business education and leadership.

🤖 Paul A. Pavlou, Miami Herbert Business School; Brian C. Tietje, Knauss School of Business; and Marcos Soto, UCU Business School joined a peer exchange exploring how business schools are putting AI into practice, sharing what’s working, what isn’t and lessons from across teaching and learning, operations and student engagement.

🌱 Ruben Guevara, CENTRUM PUCP Business School, explored ‘innovability’, bringing innovation and sustainability together to create lasting financial, social and environmental impact. Gaston Fornes, UBI Business School, then examined how a human-AI learning model can enhance human reasoning, judgement, creativity and ethical decision-making.

🌍 Later in the day, Horacio Arredondo, EGADE Business School, chaired a panel with Beatrice Avolio Alecchi, Gustavo Genoni, Indianna Minto-Coy and Vivian María Verduguez Vargas, exploring geopolitics and its implications for business schools, from student mobility and international partnerships to curriculum relevance, strategy, risk and opportunity.

🎓 Salil Pande, VMock, turned the conversation to how business schools can prepare students to navigate and engineer their careers in a changing world of work. Later, Lydia Arbaiza Fermini, ESAN Graduate School of Business, explored the role of women in educational leadership across Latin America.

The conversations continued into the evening at Huaca Pucllana Restaurant, beside a 1,500-year-old pre-Inca pyramid, bringing delegates together for another evening of networking and connection.

🌎 Highlights from Day 1 of in Lima

Yesterday marked the first day of the AMBA & BGA Latin America Deans & Directors Conference 2026, bringing business school leaders together for an afternoon of insight, discussion and connection.

The opening sessions explored some of the major forces shaping business and management education:

🤖 Mario Rodriguez Rossi, Microsoft Peru, explored how AI is reshaping the future of work and the skills leaders will need to thrive in an increasingly AI-powered economy.

💡 Micheal Collins, Business Test Methods, shared insights into how AI and assessment can connect organisational strategy with individual professional development.

🎯 Fernando Pérez, PAD – Escuela de Dirección, explored leadership under pressure through EXSIM, an immersive business simulation designed to develop decision-making, cross-functional coordination and resilience.

🌱 Ximena Rueda, Universidad de Los Andes, closed the conference sessions by exploring why nature is becoming an increasingly important consideration for business models across Latin America.

The conversations continued into the evening at Ambra Rooftop Bar, hosted by PAD Escuela de Dirección, Universidad de Piura, giving delegates the opportunity to connect with peers from across the region and beyond.
