Different parents. Same feedback.
Two students joined my maths programme last week.
One achieved a C in A Level Maths.
She needs an A to study medicine and is now resitting.
The second is a Year 10 student.
Studying GCSE Higher Maths and Statistics.
Both had reached the limit of studying alone.
After one lesson, both parents said the same thing:
Clear approach.
Clear teaching.
Clear guidance.
The Year 10 student felt more confident in his school maths lesson the next day.
Throughout my 13 years of tutoring, I have seen the same pattern.
Students don`t just need confidence.
They need what comes before it.
Leadership.
Guidance.
Trust.
Confidence cannot be handed to a student.
It grows from within when they understand the maths and trust the person leading them.
That is how they get the best out of me.
Their parents’ feedback shows it.
