JOB OPPORTUNITY: Worship Team Leader at Tunbridge Wells Baptist Church

Church seeks a confident, personable musician to lead our family in times of sung worship and to direct our talented group of volunteers.

We are an inter-generational, multi-cultural family and are looking for someone who feels passionate about bringing together a diverse range of musical and cultural expressions. Preferably, the candidate would also have sufficient experience with technology or a willingness to learn.

Contracted hours would be 16 hours part-time with the potential of a further 4 hours, Payment would £24,000 - £28,000 per annum pro rata depending on experience.

Based in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, the location provides convenient access into London.

The worship team is approximately 25 people, including our musicians and technical team. The church sanctuary has recently been refurbished and fitted with a state-of-the-art PA system (see the picture below).

JOB OPPORTUNITY: Worship Leader at St Mary Magdalene with St Leonard, Newark on Trent.

We are looking for a passionate worship leader who places a high value on encountering God. Our church stands on the threshold of something new. We have recently been granted funding from the Church of England’s Strategic Development Unit to become a resourcing church for the town of Newark, and the surrounding villages. We have an excellent choral musical tradition, with a number of choral scholars training with us each year and we are so excited to grow and develop our excellence in a contemporary style.
Newark is a market town with excellent commuter links to London. We have a growing college and many local primary and secondary schools.

The job is advertised as 0.5 (20hrs per week) but this could be increased for the right candidate.
The annual FTE salary range for this role is £25,000 - £28,000 depending on skills and experience; actual salary will be pro-rated to the hours of the job.
