Is your governance framework actively supporting board diversity?

Our EDI Benchmarking Tool helps organisations assess whether their governance structures enable the recruitment, retention and success of diverse board members.

Built around 10 clear, measurable principles, it provides a practical framework to identify gaps, set achievable goals and demonstrate accountability.

Developed in collaboration with Clore Leadership Governance Associate, Keith Arrowsmith, supported by Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and Esmee Fairbairn Foundation.

to Diversifying Governance a few weeks ago, where we brought together 30 Chairs, Trustees and Executive Leaders to move from dialogue to action when it comes to taking concrete steps towards diversifying governance.

Some key takeaways from the day were:
▪️To allow for space and playfulness on boards
▪️How to make meetings more accessible. Someone suggested voice note minutes from meetings or record the directors report
▪️Buddies on the board - to make sure everyone has a voice and it is heard
▪️Where do you learn to be a chair? Create school for cultural chairs
▪️How do we create legacy? The trustees of tomorrow...
▪️Advocating for your right to be on the board

What would you add?

Stay tuned as we will be delivering the session online in the summer, booking opens next week!

Huge thank you to 64MA, we can't wait to see what grows this year.
