Patients and carers from minoritised ethnicities, with disabilities, or who are LGBTQ+ or women have well-documented outcomes that are worse than their peers - They have poorer access, poorer experience, and shorter life expectancy.

Staff from minoritised ethnicities, with disabilities, or who are LGBTQ+ or women have well-documented outcomes that are worse than their peers. They have poorer career progression, larger pay gaps, and greater likelihood of disciplinaries and referrals to their regulator.

FINAL CALL! We're running the RCPsych Perinatal Psychiatry Masterclass Series from Autumn 2024 to Summer 2025.

This Masterclass Series is an NHS England Workforce, Training and Education (NHSE) - funded series of masterclass programmes for new consultants, senior trainees and SAS psychiatrists in perinatal psychiatry. With places funded by NHSE for psychiatrists working in the NHS in England, additional self-funded places will be available for psychiatrists working in the devolved nations and the Republic of Ireland.
