European Horizons University College London is an affiliated chapter of European Horizons. European Horizons is a non-partisan think-tank devoted to exploring the meaning of European identity, modernizing and reforming the concept of the social market economy, advancing the cause of European integration, and deepening transatlantic relations. It started at Yale University and is now present at so
me of the most prestigious universities in the world, such as Harvard, Stanford University, and Columbia University. To this end, European Horizons has established a network of students, professors, and European decision-makers, with links to academia, politics, civil society, and business. Together, we will engage in a constructive dialogue that will propound a platform of ideas for reforming the European Union and setting a policy vision for its future. European Horizons at UCL will:
- Help students from UCL and other universities in London attend European Horizons' international conferences.
- Hold events at UCL on European and transatlantic affairs.
- Spread knowledge on European affairs.
- Hold different debates on European issues with speakers from all around European universities.
- Promote discussion and debate on European affairs.
