So thrilled to have Silicon Valley tech entrepreneur Skyler Logsdon tomorrow @ Let's Start Up! Pop Up Fest! 🤩 Skyler started his first business, MyKlipsApp, in college and just a few years later he was the first growth / sales employee at ZIRX, where he helped to fundraise $55MM from top Silicon Valley investors and to launch in 9 cities across the US in order to solve city parking through an app. Most recently, he started another company, Tatari, a platform / technology revolutionising the process of purchasing TV advertising by providing a new data-driven approach.🔝✔️

We have some excellent news for this morning!🤩 The Crowdfunding campaign of Alex Lewis, Haringey Council Bursary Programme Participant and Business Owner of Earth Ale Brewery went straight up to £3600 on the first day and is currently at £4785 👏🏻🎉 Alex aims to create an exciting new taproom and a community space for Haringey residents by renovating a double-decker bus in Blue House Yard, Woodgreen, where he would offer 11 hyper-local and delicious craft brews on tap in order to showcase the amazing beer brewed in North London. On the upper deck, he envisions summer screenings of cult classics, gigs to support local bands and language sessions or small lectures from subject experts. ✔️Moreover, the Earth Ale Brewery team plans to install solar panels on the roof and to use bio-degradable cups according to their strong beliefs. 👌🏻 The success was achieved with the help of 5 Westminster Business School - University of Westminster students as part of their ‘Entrepreneurial Practice’ module led by Nelia Koroleva. Congratulations to Alex and ‘Team 3’( Stephen Marley, Laura Draghici, Saniya Rauf, Najib Maye, Ekaterina Bugakova)!🎊🤝 Check out the Crowdfunding campaign (23 days left!) 👉🏻

"Learning through doing instead of listening to bloody talks”
David Jubb, theatre producer, Artistic Director & CEO of Battersea Arts Centre - BAC involves all of us in and through the SCRATCH approach.
“I believe we all display a very pure form of human creativity when we are that young. We are prepared to try anything in order to learn new stuff. But as we get older, more of our adult systems kick in to action. Which tend to make us fearful of making mistakes. This suppresses our creative instincts.”
