Morning Teachers,
For a grade 1 class award, do they do their dance one at a time or in 2s?
Many Thanks
Afternoon everyone,

I am looking for some dark green (forest green) RAD ballet skirts for Gr6/7/8. I have tried many companies but struggling to find a company that make them.

Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Thanks in advanced.
Alicia
Amy this was announced today. I am assuming this means that Welsh dance schools are able to reopen face to face classes. Am I correct in assuming this? Thanks for all your help and assistance during these difficult times. It was so lovely to see you everyone else at the coffee morning yesterday x

Morning, I have a student who is applying for university and has asked for our school ID number. I have given her our school ID number but she has said this isn’t long enough on the UCAS form. Anybody have any ideas or come across this. Many thanks
Hi everyone. We have filmed some exams and now I’m trying to upload them onto a site in order to submit them. I filmed them on my iPad and now I’m having trouble downloading them, any help would be appreciated. I have tried to upload to Vimeo but it’s saying the file isn’t big enough. Thanks
Evening everyone, can I please ask a question regarding video entries. We are looking to enter our entries and was just wondering what others have used to record the exams. Thanks
Hi all, I read on the newsletter the RAD we are to contact our local office with regard to exams and what is happening in our region. Do we have any information available to us please?
Hope you are all keeping safe and well.

Our friends at Birmingham Hippodrome have some interesting links and an amusing little quiz on their website.

Hi, not sure if people have already sorted this, but if you're doing classes online in any format on any platform, you need a limited online music licence from PRS. The roaming licence which we all have for regular teaching (If you use multiple venues and don't have your own premises) DOES NOT cover online classes. What you also need to do is keep a record of how long you're not using your other licence for and they will take that into account when you renew your licence next time.
Stapleton School of Dancing is looking for a teacher to join our team for maternity cover and with the possibility of continued work in the future.
We are located in Bristol (Frenchay and Yate) with beautiful studios.

From January - Easter:
Monday and Wednesday teaching Pre-primary to Grade 5 and two Pointe classes on the Wednesday.

Easter - July:
Friday - Pre-primary - Grade 1 and Primary Tap and Grade 1 Modern (ISTD).
Saturday - Pre-primary - Grade 1.

Good rates of pay. Pay is negotiable depending on experience.

World War II is so ingrained in the British national consciousness that it seemed almost inevitable that analogies would be made between the coronavirus pandemic and Britain at war in the 1940s.

This webinar will draw parallels between these two “wars” in terms of their impact on space and relationships with audiences, and on the status and role of the arts in such a time of national crisis.

Unable to join the webinar live? Book now to ensure you will have access to the recording of the presentation: https://www.royalacademyofdance.org/event/british-ballet-at-war-world-war-ii-and-covid-19/
