Year 6 Trip to Moorland Hall 🧗

This week our Year 6 pupils took to Moorland Hall for their residential trip. We did a variety of group and team-building activities from wall climbing, the leap of faith, geocaching and crate building. We even broke the Moorland Hall record for building 16 crates.

We have had an amazing time away and can't wait for our return to school to share all our stories.

Two weeks until Gardener Schools Group is hosting our very first Art Exhibition, displaying work from each of our four schools. Ravenscourt Park Preparatory artists are coming together with pupils from sister schools Maida Vale School, Kew Green Preparatory School and Kew House School. Inspired by the work of Cezanne, we are creating a range of Still Life artwork from canvases to murals. The event will take place in Maida Vale School's theatre on Friday 24th March from 5pm to 8pm. We look forward to welcoming our families to our GSG Art Exhibition 🖼️🎨🖌️

This week Reception enjoyed a trip to the Wetland Centre. We participated in a mud kitchen workshop to make mud creations for our choice of wildlife. We tested our observation skills and used maths to identify and count the different species of birds we spotted. Everyone was excited to see the blue-beaked ducks, which we later identified as Wigdeons. We were also lucky enough to see otters feeding before heading inside to play some water-themed games and to get warm 🦆🌱🦦

On guard 🤺

We offer a variety of sporting activities at RPPS, where our pupils are able to learn new skills and build on teamwork. Fencing is our latest success, encouraging our pupils to be brave and try new things.
