WHEN LIFE FEELS STAGNANT:The Reality of Transition Phases
Have you ever seen yourself having lots of mixed feelings ?
Feeling like everything feels stuck ?
Yes you are no longer where you used to be, but you seem to have not made so much progress towards arriving where you want to be.
You have goals, ambitions, and dreams, yet nothing seems to be moving forward fast enough.
It can be frustrating especially when you don't even have a stable job. You have applied for jobs, explored different career paths, tried to make progress, look at your family future, but it feels like you’re running in circles.
You wake up each day feeling this weight of uncertainty and wondering, Am I wasting time? Am I doing enough?
And social media doesn’t help—everyone else seems to be achieving something, while you’re just trying to figure things out.
But here’s the truth: you are just in your transition phase and not a dead end.
Transition phases feel slow, but they are not wasted time. It’s that uncomfortable space between where you are and where you want to be. It feels stagnant, but in reality, growth is happening.
Growth isn’t always visible. Sometimes, it happens beneath the surface—through the lessons learned, the skills developed, the resilience built, several actions taken.
If you’re in this phase, —questioning your path, worrying about time passing, feeling the pressure to “get it together” — just breathe. **You’re not behind, you’re becoming.**
keep going. Keep making small, intentional moves every day. Applying for jobs that align with your long-term goals. Learning new skills. Keep pushing forward, even if it’s one small step at a time. Trusting that each effort, even when it feels invisible, is shaping the future you desire.
Clarity comes through action, not overthinking. You’re not stuck; you’re evolving. And when the time is right, everything will align.
