technique changes EVERYTHING.

Bolus gives volume but may increase lump risk.
Linear threading creates smoother distribution but depth matters.
Microdroplet/fanning gives the most natural finish, but needs precision.

Nobody really talks about this side of medicine.

Before entering medical school, many students imagine only lectures, white coats & graduation day. But medicine also comes with constant pressure, portfolio building, assessments, deadlines, burnout and learning how to keep going even when you’re exhausted.

It’s challenging… mentally, emotionally & academically.

But despite all of that… helping patients and becoming the doctor you once dreamed of becoming still makes the journey meaningful. 🩺

📘 Maintain the Balance: Bicarbonate Buffer System
The bicarbonate buffer system is the body’s primary defense against pH imbalance. By buffering excess hydrogen ions and coordinating with the lungs and kidneys, it helps maintain stable acid–base physiology.

Understanding this mechanism is essential for interpreting acid–base disorders and clinical physiology.
