Last week we’re proud to have designed and delivered a bespoke employability programme for a fantastic group of mums ready to return to the workplace.

At , we believe talent doesn’t disappear because someone takes time out to raise a family. What’s often needed is the right space, structured support, and the confidence to step forward again.

We were delighted to work with who we are thankful for the opportunity to design and deliver this programme Mums Moving Forward. Their commitment to supporting parents back into employment made this collaboration particularly meaningful.

Through three day workshops, we worked with motivated, skilled and educated women who are eager to contribute their experience and re-enter employment.

Before the programme began, participants shared that they were struggling with:
• A lack of confidence
• Anxiety around interviews
• Uncertainty about how to explain career gaps
• Feeling disconnected from the labour market

Our bespoke programme was carefully designed to address these barriers. Across the three sessions, we covered:

✔️ Wellbeing and rebuilding confidence
✔️ Identifying and overcoming barriers to employment
✔️ Where to find opportunities and how to approach employers
✔️ Tailoring CVs and cover letters
✔️ Interview preparation and practical techniques
✔️ Speculative approaches and networking
✔️ Volunteering and gaining relevant experience

What made this programme particularly powerful was the peer support within the group. Shared experiences created a safe, encouraging environment where participants could learn from one another and realise they are not alone in their journey.

We are passionate about supporting organisations to unlock overlooked talent pools — including parents returning to work — and creating training that is practical, empowering and results-driven.

I just want to say a huge Thank you to the team. Together last year we’ve supported over 300 people — including 18–24-year-olds, Women returners, individuals with low-level literacy or Dyslexia, and young people with mild to moderate mental health challenges.

Every conversation, every bit of support, and every moment of encouragement has helped change lives — and that’s because of our dedication, compassion, and belief in what we do continues to make a real difference in people’s lives every single day.

What a fabulous Job Fair last week in Southend, "New Year New You". Helping and supporting people with opportunities, advice, and help to move them closer to work. Excellently organised by DWP, Southend Council and all those involved especially .newham.73 👏👏 Also the Mayor himself was there! 😊

What a lovely two days with our Inspire candidates. Nice day yesterday in Clacton on Sea, 121s in the sun near the seaside 🌊. Today was our celebration event! Lovely time in Walton on the Naze, long walk from Walton Pier to Naze Tower and of course well deserved pizza to finish off!!! The Inspire candidates loved it and so did we! So nice to see some of them at their work too! An Inspiring time for all.

Here's to four years of lessons, wins, growth, resilience, and accomplishments. Feeling very grateful and blessed we have been able to help and support so many people during this time. Looking forward to doing the same for many more years!

After a great week in Clacton with our "Inspire" young people. Met up with some of them today for a lovely Sunday coffee and cake.
Now in Southend ready for a week of supporting our "Energise" young people! What a fabulous place to be working.❤️

Such a lovely day for our young people on our 'Inspire' course. Went to 'Sandy's Farm' which was really informative, saw beautiful animals which the Farm look after so well. Fantastic experience for us to see so Thank You Sandys Farm! Then spent the afternoon at Walton On Naze with some of the other candidates meeting us. Ice-cream, warm donuts and pizza ....We all had a great time by the sea!
