Lunch Hour Lecture: What can sign languages tell us about human language? 11/03/2020

Next Tuesday, 17th of March 2020, there will be a 1 hour lecture on sign and spoken language at UCL. It will be BSL interpreted and run between 13:00 and 14:00. It is free to attend, but you have to register to attend.

Lunch Hour Lecture: What can sign languages tell us about human language? This talk will outline how sign languages are the same as spoken languages in terms of how they are structured and how they are used, how they differ from spoken languages, and what all of this tells us about the human capacity for language generally.
