Discover the works of Croatian Renaissance playwright Marin Držić at UCL on 8 October.

Hosted by UCL and the House of Marin Držić in Dubrovnik, this special Bloomsbury Studio performance features Venus and Adonis, translated into English from Croatian for the first time by Wendy Bracewell (UCL SSEES). This will be accompanied by Long Nose Speaks, a new piece based on translations of Držić's other plays by Filip Krenus, all published in English by the House of Marin Držić.

A memorable A Level Results Day reunion ⭐️

Professor John Mullan (UCL English) met with his former student, Andy Burnham, whom he taught while Burnham was studying English at the University of Cambridge. The pair reflected on his university experience and discussed the education and training opportunities available to young people today.

As students across the country received their results, Professor Mullan shared his congratulations to those joining UCL this autumn:
