To support our new KS1 Capital City Adventure films, we’ve created Geo-Jotters for pupils to record observations, tick off features, and reflect on their learning.

Two versions of the Geo-Jotters are available to suit most Year 1 and Year 2 learners.

We hope you love these films as much as we loved making them!

We’re excited to launch our brand new KS1 Capital City Adventure series! 🎉

Our journey takes children to explore Cardiff, Belfast, Edinburgh and London!

Through engaging films, children learn to name and locate the four countries and capital cities of the UK on a map, while beginning to understand their own place in relation to them.

Along the way, they explore what makes a city a capital, identify key human and physical features, and consider how each city looks after its environment.

To support the films, we’ve created Geo-Jotters for pupils to record observations, tick off features, and reflect on their learning.

🇬🇧 Our brand new Capital Cities of the UK trailer is ready to watch!

This is the content so many schools have been asking for, and we’re thrilled to give you a first look at what’s coming ahead of our full series launch in early May.

Here’s what teachers are already saying:

“It looks like it will work brilliantly for our curriculum. We really enjoyed the rivers film which we have embedded into our yr 5 curriculum and we hope to do the same with this KS1 adventure.”

“This is absolutely brilliant! Just watched it! The music is great. I love the transcript being so rhythmic and poem like. Having the character/friend to meet along the way will be fun for our KS1. I am looking forward to being able to use this film in the future!”

We’re delighted to share that Oddizzi has achieved a double Silver win at the Geographical Association Publishers’ Awards! 🎉

Two of our films have been recognised: River Detectives (KS2) & Let’s go to the Amazon Rainforest (KS2).

The Geographical Association Publishers’ Awards celebrate resources that make a significant contribution to geography education across the UK.

These awards recognise not just content, but impact, quality, usability and originality, from the strength of the geographical thinking, to how effectively resources support teaching and learning in the classroom.

To receive two of the three awards in the primary category is something we’re incredibly proud of.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in creating these resources 🙌

“This week it really hit me how incredibly well the club caters for the children in my class with additional needs. They are SO engaged and enthused throughout every session because they can access all the activities in the geo-jotters which are SO inclusive!”
