We are a friendly, child focused nursery who prioritise feeding children a wide variety of wholesome healthy fresh food.

We believe in nurturing children at Wood Street Nursery by calmly helping them feel, name and express their emotions.

We are looking for an enthusiastic room leader/supervisor for our two-year-old room.

Your role will be to manage a small team of early years educators, the learning environment, and the daily routine of the two-year-old room while prioritising the wellbeing and learning of all children each day

We follow In The Moment Planning. We focus on continuous provision with children free to self-select, add to and extend activities. We know that children learn best through self-directed play, lots of time outdoors, and warm relationships with skilled practitioners in a rich and exciting play environment and are looking for practitioners that share these beliefs.

You must:

-hold a full and relevant early years qualification Level 3 and above.

-have experience in running a room, leading a team, and be able to develop and challenge staff practice.

-have a strong understanding of the EYFS and how to promote children's learning and development.

-be able to build warm relationships with children and believe in treating them with kindness and respect.

Wood st Nursery is a good place to work, we look after our staff, providing supervision and support and promoting a friendly and happy staff team.

Full time 37.5 hrs per week, 5 weeks holiday + bank holidays, pension scheme.

Part-time, compressed hours are considered for the right candidate. The salary would be pro-rata depending on hours worked.
