I’m now seeing clients at the Kingston Therapy Hub 🤗

I am officially a qualified Play Therapist 🎉

Whilst we were on holiday over Easter break I received my certificate of practice! It’s so exciting to finally be qualified. Now the real work begins of setting up my business and finding new clients to work with. 🌸

Finally getting started with some new clients for the diploma level of my Play Therapy training (I finished my certificate level work in December)
And I’ve added a few new toys to my tool kit, including this cute little fold up doll house! 🏡

Autumn is quite possibly my favourite time of year 🎃🍂🍁
Very excited to have the kids home for a week for half term break, so we can do Halloween and cosy autumnal things!
And I’ve completed my first half term as a Therapeutic Play Practitioner! It’s still only the beginning, but it’s already very rewarding and I’m learning so much. 🤗

Had my first client today as a Play Therapist (well, technically as a Therapeutic Play Practitioner trainee, but you know what I mean 😉)
It’s been a lot of work to get to this point, but I’m so glad that I finally get to start working with clients and hopefully helping them to make some positive changes in reaching their goals 🌈

Thank you so much for all of your lovely, supportive messages last week when I posted about starting the Play Therapy course. 📚
It’s hard to believe that this time last week I was just on my first day of training and now I’m back at home trying to read lots and get all the paperwork organised. 💻
It’s a lot and I’m going to have to work hard, but I can wait to start the therapeutic play sessions with children soon! 🪁

It’s time for Play & Learn Every Day to take on a new chapter!

It’s my turn to learn now, as I embark on my studies to become a Play Therapist. It’s my first day of school!

I will always be passionate about play based learning at home, but soon I will be able to take that love of play out into the world to help children that need it. Wish me luck!

It’s been quite the year, so we had fun making these special presents for all of the kids’ wonderful teachers! Orange you glad it’s summer bags filled with orange themed treats and orange soaps that we made! 🍊

Looking ahead to the last week of school ☀️

We went to Kew Gardens and the kids each went to a birthday party over the weekend, it’s starting to feel like summer already!

Fingers crossed for a great last week of school and a smooth transition into the summer holidays!
