Wac Arts is a North London based performing arts charity providing arts programme for young people.

We offer professional yet accessible arts and creative media programming for 5-25-year-olds during the weekend, with occasional summer programming. At Wac Arts we have fully developed a practice of arts training which values the key, transferable skills that young people learn from arts experiences. The History of Wac Arts:

And just like that, another Summer School comes to an end.

This year has been our biggest yet, and we’ve loved seeing our young people embrace creativity, try new things and explore their ideas with such enthusiasm.

Our tutors have been at the heart of that journey, going above and beyond to create a space where everyone could experiment, have fun and let their creativity shine.

A huge thank you to every young person who took part and brought such a vibrant energy to Summer School, and to our wonderful tutors for guiding and encouraging them throughout.

Here’s a little reflection on all the fun we’ve had!

Our Intergenerational Writing Project 2026 has come to an incredible close, and we're so proud of everything this group has achieved.

We've seen stories shared, friendships formed and creativity flourish as young people (16–24) and adults (60+) came together to write, connect and inspire one another.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part, and to playwright Beth Flintoff for guiding this wonderful journey. We're so proud of everything you've created and the community you've built together.

Here's to the stories that bring us closer.
