Today’s study of the day for Neurodiversity Week is our ! 🌟

Very little is known about how autism and ADHD develop over the first few years of life 🧐. Using newly developed techniques for studying brain and behaviour in infants, STAARS researchers are exploring early signs of autism and ADHD in infants at high-risk of developing these conditions. This will help with earlier and more effective interventions aimed at improving the quality of life of children and their families 🏠.

They are looking for families with a child or parent diagnosed with autism/ADHD/typical development with a younger sibling between the ages of 0-10 months.

If you are interested in taking part, please sign up to our database at and our researcher will be in contact. Alternatively, you can contact them directly and email [email protected]

New study alert 📣

Our researchers are looking at understanding how young children explore the world and are looking for parents to complete a short online survey 🌍. If you have a child between the ages of 2-5 years old, we want you!

If you are interested, please scan the QR code above or email our researchers at [email protected] or [email protected]

In celebration of Neurodiversity Week, we will be showcasing ‘A Study a Day’ of research at the Babylab. These studies are committed to improving our understanding of neurodiversity! 🧠🌈💡

Today’s study is SNAP! SNAP is exploring how children with autism view and understand their environment. They use interesting measures including EEG. Your child will complete some fun tablet tasks and play with new toys during this study 🧸

If you are interested in taking part, please email our team at [email protected]

🚨New study alert! 🚨 Help us discover what's happening in children's brains when they play with their siblings and friends!! 🧠 If you have a 3- or 5-year-old keen to take part, email us at [email protected] 🧩
