International Ladies Day 2024 Pétanque in Croydon

We would like to send best wishes from the committee to all tennis and pétanque members this Christmas and we look forward to seeing you at the club in the new year!

Dear members, we are having Christmas drinks and nibbles on 17th December 2023 from 12 midday. Please join us for a get together, the club will be providing the refreshments.

It's the first Sunday of a month so the club session is from 2pm followed by a joint afternoon tea & cake on the lawn.
Any offers of help in the way of baking, setting up or serving are most welcome.

The Mens team made an impressive 4-0 start to the Wilson Summer League vs Riddlesdown LTC yesterday despite the scorching sun and approaching thunderstorm. Way to go!

It's our monthly afternoon tea & cake session this coming Sunday that follows the 2-4pm tennis/petanque club session so come along for some exercise and treats. Bring a snack/cake. Let Paul know if you can help with baking, setting up or serving. See you tomorrow.

As of today, the Club gained 19 new members through the recent Open weekend and other publicity. A big thank you to anyone who contributed, it's a great success.

A big thanks to Adrian as well as pétanque and tennis members who turned up this morning to welcome visitors to the club. The weather behaved itself and it should also be fine tomorrow.
Sunday morning we hope to see some more new faces as well as those who came today and want another look! We will have tea, coffee & biscuits available.

Today the Club's mens team (Dmitry, Jake, Luke and Sep) played their first away match of the Winter league against Riddlesdown. We comfortably won 3 matches and only lost one on a championship tiebreak 8:10. Good stuff!
