UCL EFS presents: A Virtual Private Credit Event with Alex Chan. This event is the first part of our Introduction Into Finance series which aims to introduce members to all fields of finance. The speaker, Alex Chan is an associate in life sciences lending at Oaktree Capital Management. He has previous work experience in investment banking at Evercore and William Blair.
In this virtual event, we have Alex Chan speaking to us about his journey into finance, the nature of his work in private credit, and the process he took to join his current company.
