Fashion Retail Academy We are home of Fashion's Next Generation. The Fashion Retail Academy, recently awarded Ofsted outstanding, is the quickest route to a career in fashion retail.

We offer one or two year fast track Degree and Degree courses across a range of head office roles including Buying, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Design, Digital, Merchandising and Retail Management. Our Degree courses include a three work placement with a major high street label, industry mentoring and guaranteed interview for graduating students. Delivered over two years instead of three, you will also save time and cost whilst gaining invaluable on the job experience. Supported by and working closely with over 130 fashion brands, most of our diploma courses include work placements, industry led projects and masterclasses as standard and a multitude of additional course specific opportunities driven by our industry experienced tutors. You can be fully trained, complete with on the job experience in as little as a year. Our success speaks for itself. 92% of our graduates go on to industry job roles or continue their studies. Our Year 1 Fashion Communications & Styling and Art Direction students were delighted to welcome FRA alumni Issac Perry for an inspiring masterclass ✨

Issac shared his journey from studying our Level 3 courses at FRA in 2016, through to completing our Marketing & Communications degree and building a successful career in the industry.

Now working at ASOS as a Senior Social Media Executive, Issac spoke to our students about his career journey, the key steps he’s taken and how he got to where he is today.

Last week, our Year 1 Fashion Design students took part in a live illustration workshop with the talented Connie Lim.

Students were challenged to draw their own Met Gala looks, starting with the model’s silhouette before adding their own creative flair and identity through the clothing.

Connie has created bespoke, hand-drawn illustrations for events with Dior, Chanel, Miu Miu, Tiffany & Co., Versace and Ferragamo, blending speed, style and storytelling into personalised keepsakes.

It was fantastic to see so many creative ideas from our students. Thank you, Connie, for joining us and delivering such an inspiring workshop! ✨

Open Days are back this week! 📚

Learn more about the courses we offer and get a feel for what the FRA is like to study at.

The day includes an introduction to the FRA, meeting our teaching staff and talking through the courses you’re interested in. You’ll also have the chance to meet our amazing support teams and join a full tour of the building.

Our Level 4 and Undergrad/Postgrad Open Day takes place this Saturday, with our Level 2/3 Open Day taking place the following weekend on 26th of September.

In May, our final year Fashion Communications & Styling students took on a live brief from Rasharn Powell, Community Lead at Axel Arigato.

Over 12 weeks, students explored the brand’s communications, identified opportunities and developed innovative solutions, including brand collaborations.

From editorial magazines and short films to campaigns and creative presentations, the ideas showcased incredible creativity, ambition and originality.
