As part of Improve International, we're delighted to share some exciting news! The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons has confirmed that the ISVPS General Practitioner Certificate Advanced Practitioner Route (GPCert (APR)) in Small Animal Soft Tissue Surgery is among the first qualifications approved under its new postgraduate accreditation framework. The certificate is now formally recognised as an eligible qualification for vets applying for RCVS Advanced Practitioner status.

This is the first ISVPS-awarded certificate programme that has been directly accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) without the prior requirement for a university Postgraduate Certificate (PgC), creating a new, streamlined route to Advanced Practitioner status.
