What does it mean to "be a man" in today's world?

Join us for some important conversations about how gendered expectations influence boys’ mental health, behaviour, and relationships.

Open to all! Whether you are a parent, a teacher, or a community leader, this event will share valuable tools to help boys grow into emotionally literate, kind, and authentic young men.

The evening will be led by Beyond Equality, a gender equity charity with over 12 years experience working with 65,000+ boys in schools across the UK.

Pre-Reception and Nursery children attend Forest School every week.

The children sanded pieces of wood which they’ll use next week to create their very own woodland houses, developing fine motor skills, concentration and confidence with tools.

There was lots of muddy, sensory fun with buckets, spades and water, as well as woodland exploring with magnifying glasses. Bailey joined us too, giving us opportunities to practise being kind, gentle and caring.

We finished with hot chocolate, biscuits and some cosy woodland reading. A lovely morning of curious, confident and caring young inquirers!

Another lovely week in Pre-Reception! The children have settled beautifully and have enjoyed plenty of time exploring indoors and outdoors, whatever the weather.

We have been talking about our feelings, exploring sensory experiences, sharing stories and singing together. It has been wonderful to see friendships growing, new bonds forming and the children becoming more confident and independent each day.

A lovely, calm week full of curiosity, laughter and learning together.

🌱 How can we build a safer, more resilient future by working with nature? As part of Climate Week (20th–27th September), we’re excited to share 'How to Live on Earth', a hopeful new feature documentary presented by Benedict Cumberbatch and created by Open Planet Studios, Silvania, and Dwight's learning partner, the Villars Institute Foundation!

Rather than focusing only on the scale of the climate crisis, the film highlights inspiring stories of communities around the world working to help natural systems recover. Our partnership with the Villars Institute is one way we encourage our students to think globally and take action.

It's brilliant to be back at Forest School!

The children have been busy reconnecting with the woodland, getting to know the site again and settling back into our Forest School routines.

From boundary walks, scavenger hunts and map-making to risk challenges, woodland games, hammocks, digging, stories and lots of child-led play, there has been plenty of exploring, problem-solving and teamwork.

It has been lovely to see the children making new friends, including others in their play and showing so much curiosity, confidence and care.

A fantastic start to the Forest School year!

Yesterday, Year 7 had a fantastic time at PGL Liddington. From soaring to new heights on the Giant Swing to showing off some serious skills in fencing, the day was all about teamwork, trying new things, and making awesome memories together. 🤺🔥

🍕 Kickstarting Residential Week with a Slice of Fun!

This week, our Senior School have been starting the term with exciting experiences and residential trips meant to build community with their new classes and get them amped up for the year ahead.

Year 7 have been trying different activities all week, like yesterday when they cooked up a storm in the Dwight Social Café! Guided by Chef Lee, the students got hands-on experience crafting their very own fresh pizzas and classic Italian focaccia.

From rolling out the dough to choosing their favourite toppings, everyone showcased fantastic teamwork and some impressive culinary skills. It was a delicious start to an exciting week ahead! 🍞✨
