Yesterday, I read a poem that inspired me so much that I really want to share it with you ๐Ÿค—

It was written by Rudyard Kipling and was inspired by "The Jameson Raid," an 1895 military action in the Boer War in South Africa. Jameson became a hero in the British press for his courage in attempting the raid and his willingness to take responsibility for the failure of the mission.

The poem is a magnificent tribute to many of humankind's greatest virtues like staying composed under stress, remaining humble when victorious, never despairing when defeated, and always retaining honor and authenticity๐Ÿ’ซ

One of the main things hurting our femininity is, unfortunately, being stuck in a job that we do not like. For us women, it is especially important to not just do the job well, but to enjoy it, love it, and feel pleasure from the very process of doing something. This nurtures our femininity, makes us more strong, creative, and opens up our best leadership qualities๐Ÿ’ซ
Unfortunately this is not always the case. We have to deal with jobs which we do not like, which make us feel โ€œworkโ€ as something hard, unpleasant, something that needs to be done to provide for our families or achieve successโœจ

Finding the job which you really love or switching to this job is an important topic.

If you do not like what you do, it might be not the entire process of work. Some parts of your work you might actually enjoy and love. The simple technique consists in breaking your work into different parts or pieces, then focusing on your best areas while delegating or outsourcing (especially if you work remotely) the other parts.

If you cannot quit your job right now, which is the case for most women, it is very important that you make a โ€œswitchโ€ once you are done with work. Relaxing, resting, and just disconnecting yourself isnโ€™t enough. But you can switch to some activity which you really love, ideally something active, energizing, or inspiring. Best case scenario, it will make you act in a completely different, opposite way. For example, if your work requires you to be in the office and working with papers, go to dance classes (salsa, tango, modern). That way, you switch mental activity to emotional and physical, which is the best way to disconnect from work while energizing yourself mentally and emotionally.

When I was attending women leadership conferences and courses, I saw something important, which I want to share with you now๐Ÿค—
โ €
Women-leaders for some reason tend to dress in a more formal way: oftentimes in business suits, in grey colors, avoiding something interesting, unique and unusual. Not all of them of course, but I saw it as a general tendency in the womenโ€™s leadership movement. I respect business style as well, but women started to use it too muchโ€ฆ๐Ÿ˜
โ €
I started our New Women in Leadership community with the exact purpose to help us nurture our authentic leadership, which is coming from within ourselves and reflects our true nature๐Ÿ’ž
โ €
And I always felt a strong connection with Style. I felt that it is an important part of our leadership, and our internal power is expressed through it
โ €
Experimenting and trying different styles myself I saw how a correct style-choice can in seconds change how I felt: enhance self-esteem, make me feel balanced, more powerful, more communicative, inspired, less stressed
โ €
More โ€œMYSELFโ€โ€ฆ
โ €
And now, as I am building our NWL community, I am talking to experts, and they are confirming my experience: us, women are very different from men, who need dry, grey, black, stick style to outline their male leadership qualities: dominance, focus, alfa status, etc.
โ €
But we need to strengthen different leadership qualities, which are authentic to us:
intelligence, creativity, emotional sophistication, flexibility, intuition, magnetism.
โ €
And for that we need something very different, and often very personal for each of us. Even if we are acting inside the formal corporate environment.

New Women In Leadearhip

For many years Iโ€™ve travelled around the world and participated in international forums and conferences for young leaders and entrepreneurs. Not only have I worked for big companies, I also ran my own.
โ €
Iโ€™ve met thousands of incredibly talented women from various backgrounds (religion, culture, age, etc.)
What I have noticed is that many of them have excellent thoughts, ideas, projects, but also have much more difficulty in becoming successful leaders as women. This experience has sparked my interest in building a program that brings in principles of womenโ€™s leadership, based on a deep understanding of our true feminine nature.
โ €
Womenโ€™s Empowerment is especially important now: feminine principles of leadership are becoming more and more important around the world and are proving to solve categorical problems: ecological, social, cultural.
โ €
In my โ€œNew Women in Leadershipโ€ project, I research this subject and consult some of the leading experts from various fields to help in understanding how we can build an authentic leadership style, bringing in all the best of our talents, abilities and passions.
โ €
Through this series of posts, I will be sharing the most interesting, exciting insights about feminine leadership and how every one of us can apply them in our businesses and careers as well as all other aspects of our lives.

In our surroundings, we observe that not many women feel the satisfaction and emotional stability in their respective job roles. One of the main reasons for this is that women often work outside of their core talents and passions, due to which their thirst doesn't get satisfied.
