Tips and Ideas for supporting your child to succeed in exams. 1.Motivate your child: Look for opportunities to praise your child for his/ past efforts. 2.Get familiar with the school"s work. 3.Help your child to plan on how to revise: Start the revision today. Never too early , its better than late or never. 4.Seek for help or intervention early if you think your child may need help in any of the subjects.5.Ensure your child have all necessary resources to use to revise as well for the exams. 6.Insist your child does not revise in front of the T.V or with phone. The two are big temptation to any young person. 7.Take time to attend parents + teachers meeting (if any) for exams. 8. Ask the teachers if there are areas of the subjects they think your child might need help. 9:Set revision time table for consistent personal study time. . 10.Agree on very reasonable bed time at night 11. Let there be opportunities to relax as well. 12. Don't compare your child rather encourage your child. 13.Help your child to cool down to avoid stress 14. Pray for your child . Assure your child of God"s strength at this time of need. 15 .Your child is the best! Your child is brilliant!!
