Can you spot yourself? The amount of stink bombs we had thrown on these stairs!
The old Crown Woods!

Which of these was your emblem? Seems like they gave up for the second one!
(p.s. If anybody has a better quality image of the older one, please could you send it to us, the school seem to have deleted everything)

Somebody thought this aerial shot of Crown Woods was nice enough to put on a postcard in the late 50's. Doubt anybody that went there in the last 20 years even knew there were tennis courts!

Anybody used to catch this bus into school? I hear a few drivers chose to switch careers after a day with our lot!

Hi all, this is a message on behalf of Zoe Roberts, a member of our page who is doing some research on an old film based in and around Eltham. I'm sure she'd appreciate input from anybody that recognised the following scenes and its an interesting watch for any South-East Londoner!

Here's Zoe's message:
I'm cataloguing a wonderful 1964 film of Woolwich for London's Screen Archives, working out all the locations, main people etc (I'm a volunteer). I'd be grateful if someone could confirm if the man in the 1st pic who discusses Crown Woods School is Mr M.K Ross (David Clarke, Peter Cursons?). I've got quite a bit of info, but if anyone can recognise the mystery location with the grave (2nd pic); the man on the Woolwich Polytechnic balcony (3rd pic); the gym (not the school gym, the town one); the bookies; or any of the shops or market stalls (I know Fine fare, Ashley Ceres, Garretts and Joslins) I would also be very interested. (Content warning - the section about the Empire Theatre involves partial nudity.
