Counting down to 2026!

We’re turning the spotlight on our in-house publishing brands! ’s Uh Oh Niko is gearing up for launch in the USA, while ’s The Bear and the Piano is heading to the stage this Christmas in a brand-new production, complete with exclusive merchandise.

We’ll also be shining a light on our phenomenal licensing artists, multi-award-winning .rayner and the wonderfully talented with her collector’s tote, designed for this year’s Bookshop Day. Both are presenting at for the very first time!

We are going to 2026! The Bright Agency will be showcasing our incredible list of artists at BLE and presenting our expanding list of brands.

These include the work of the iconic British illustrator Shirley Hughes, with the first-ever style guide and asset library of her work ready to license as we approach an important milestone in Shirley’s centenary celebrations beginning in summer 2027.

We’ll also present our range of incredible licensing artists, including multi-award winner Catherine Rayner and designer and illustrator Jane Foster, including this year’s fantastic Books Are My Bag collector’s tote for Bookshop Day, designed by Jane. Both are open for new licensing opportunities!

We’ll also be spotlighting our publishing brands, including Chris Chatterton’s Uh Oh Niko, gearing up for launch in the USA, and David Litchfield’s The Bear and the Piano, heading to the stage this Christmas in a brand-new RSC production with exclusive merchandise.

Alongside all of this we will also be showcasing the work of many incredible artists, all ready for licensing, book in a meeting with us and join us at our stand A235 to find out more!

You can tell Halloween is around the corner as the blockbuster movie adaptation of STITCH HEAD, based on Guy Bass’ book series, is available on Netflix today!

The Bright Agency represent the film across licensing - and is ready to talk to potential partners for this future Halloween classic now!

The fantastic adaptation follows Stitch Head as he steps out of the shadows into the adventure of an almost-lifetime... filled with incredible creature creations guaranteed to delight fans of all ages, now is the time to hop on-board and make Stitch Head your new Halloween property.

We’re delighted to welcome illustration superstar Catherine Rayner (.rayner) to The Bright Agency for Brand Licensing.

Catherine’s art can already be found on greetings cards, baby wear and more, but working with Bright, the goal is to expand further and into new and surprising categories.

Catherine’s books have been translated into 35 languages and sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide, and adapted for television, theatre, and musicals, including Augustus and his Smile (Little Tiger Press) which was adapted for the Royal Albert Hall stage.

, Brand Partnerships Director at The Bright Agency is further expanding their reach into licensing with the signing of Catherine, whom he now represents across licensing, advertising and editorial work

David Higham Associates continues to represent Rayner’s literary, film and television rights.

Claudine was born and raised in Luton, UK, once famous for a flourishing hat-making trade. Heavily influenced by her mother, who worked as a milliner and embroiderer, Claudine knew from an early age that she wanted to live a creative life.

Over 20 years experience in the greetings card industry has given her the skills to create many varied styles demonstrating a diverse portfolio. During this time Claudine has continuously designed a well-known best selling handmade card range, which has won the prestigious Henries Award on numerous occasions.

graduated with a degree in Textiles from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2000. She has spent time freelancing for a variety of clients designing stationery, ceramics, fabrics and greetings cards, following she worked for a leading greetings card publisher as an in-house Senior designer for many years. She lives in the beautiful county of Northamptonshire with her family and dog Olive where she loves entertaining with family and friends.

When she’s not busy working in her studio Colette spends her time gathering inspiration from her walks in the countryside in all seasons, gardening, travelling, reading and loves collecting illustrated children’s books.
