Bringing a fresh mix of funk, rock and disco influences, they had the Cavern Club crowd on their feet from the opening song. As huge Beatles fans, stepping onto the same legendary stage where music history was made was something they’ll never forget 🎸💫

Real live industry experience 🎫🎶
 
Kiril Kostiuchenko, a second-year Music Business & Entrepreneurship student, brought his vision to life with an underground rap and electronic show at earlier this year.
 
More than just a night of music, it was a chance to put his skills into practice. From planning and promotion, to shaping the overall vibe. The event showed what it really takes to build something from the ground up. For Kiril, this is what makes the module his favourite: real, hands-on experience and understanding how to launch a profitable venture in the live industry.

Music Business students Noah and Yve recently curated their first live event at The Hope & Anchor in London, as part of their BA (Hons) Music Business & Entrepreneurship degree.
 
Here they tell us about the experience, from the buzz of planning to the reality of running the night… the pressures, the problem solving, and having to think on their feet.
 
This was an enviable opportunity that put their skills and knowledge into practice. From planning and promotion to stage management and troubleshooting. Experiences like these help our students build community, make professional connections, and gain hands-on industry experience.
