This week, we’ve welcomed our new & old Hedgehogs friends back!

We’ve celebrated settling in and exploring the hedgehogs garden, room and environment. We’ve also loved reading our book of the week “Hug” 🤗.

This week, we have welcomed all of our new Fawn and Rabbit friends! 🐰
We’ve had a wonderful time settling into our new room, exploring our surroundings, and getting to know our new teachers. 💕

📚 Our book of the week has been “Hug”

We’ve also made the most of the sunshine ☀️ with lots of fun, exploring and adventures in our big garden! 🌳🌼

It’s been a fantastic first week, and we can’t wait to see you all next week for even more fun, laughter and learning! 💛

🦉✨ Welcome Back to Owls! ✨🦉

What a wonderful settling-in week we’ve had in Owls! 💚

It has been lovely welcoming lots of our children back and seeing their happy faces as they return to the room. We’ve enjoyed lots of play, exploring and reconnecting with friends and familiar faces. 🥰

We’re so proud of how well everyone has settled back into the Owls routine, and we’re looking forward to all the fun, learning and adventures still to come this year! 🌈📚🎨

🧸🧺 Teddy Bear’s Picnic

🧸This week in Bunnies the children enjoyed a lovely Teddy Bear’s Picnic, bringing their teddies into nursery and sharing special moments with them.

🧺We used our Goldilocks words — teddy, bear, picnic, spoon, bowl, mix, cereal, and garden — during play, songs, and group time to support early language.

🥣The children enjoyed mixing cereal in big bowls using large spoons, practising their fine motor skills while scooping, stirring, and exploring the sounds and textures.

🍴🧸For art, the children created their own teddy bear pictures by stamping a fork dipped in brown paint. This helped them explore mark making, texture, and fine motor control in a fun and simple way. 🎨

🥰We had a lovely picnic in the garden with our teddies. The children enjoyed sitting together, sharing snack time, and taking part in a calm and happy group experience.

🐰🧸 Teddy Bears’ Picnic Week 🧸🐰

We’ve had a lovely week in the Rabbits room celebrating our Teddy Bears’ Picnic! The children enjoyed getting creative with teddy bear themed colouring activities, using their imagination and developing their fine motor skills. 🎨

We also had a special garden tea party with delicious scones, where the children enjoyed socialising and taking part in some lovely picnic fun outdoors. ☕️🧁

The children have also been building their physical skills in the garden, practising climbing, balancing and coordination as they made their way through the play tunnel. 🌿🐾

A reminder that there will be no clubs and they will return again in September.

🧸🌼 Today we enjoyed our much-loved Annual Teddy Bears' Picnic! 🌼🧺

The children had a wonderful time making their own delicious jam sandwiches before heading off to our picnic with their favourite teddy bears. It was lovely to see everyone sharing smiles, chatting with their friends, and enjoying their tasty treats alongside their cuddly companions.
A day filled with laughter, imagination, friendship, and lots of picnic fun! Thank you to all our families for helping the children bring along their special teddies to share in the adventure. 💛🧸

🏖️🏴‍☠️🧜‍♀️ Beach, Pirates & Mermaids

This week in Bunnies, the children enjoyed exploring our Beach, Pirates and Mermaids theme through sensory play, stories, songs, and creative activities.

🏖️We used our Goldilocks words — beach, sea, sand, starfish, pirate, mermaid, splash, and treasure — during play to support early language and understanding.

🐬The children explored beach-themed trays with sea animals, and shiny treasure, practicing scooping, pouring, hiding, and finding. They also enjoyed waving scarves like sea waves and pretending to be little pirates and mermaids.

For art, the children created their own starfish pictures, adding them to a sea background. ⭐🌊

The children also enjoyed all our extra curriculum activities,

🏴‍☠️ Pirate Week in Rabbits Room! 🏴‍☠️

What a fantastic week we’ve had exploring all things pirate! The children loved getting creative by making their very own pirate hats and decorating them with lots of colourful stickers.

Our pirate-themed tuff tray was a big hit, with cereal used as the “sand” while the children searched for hidden gold coins, encouraging lots of sensory exploration and treasure hunting fun!

Story time took us under the sea as we enjoyed reading The Shiny Mermaid, sparking the children’s imaginations and lots of wonderful discussions.

The children were also very brave and had the chance to try some pirate gruel (made from porridge oats), exploring new textures and tastes.

To finish off our adventures, we enjoyed some pirate-themed mark making, using crayons to decorate pirate pictures and develop our early writing skills.

It has been a week full of creativity, sensory play, storytelling, and lots of smiles. Well done, Rabbits! ☠️🦜💛
