🌟 Space Week at Sticky Faces Nursery! 🚀✨ This week, we have been exploring the exciting theme of Space! The children have enjoyed learning about planets, stars, rockets, and astronauts through a variety of fun and engaging activities 🪐

We have created our own rockets, explored sensory trays inspired by the moon, and used our imaginations to travel through space. The children have loved looking at pictures of the solar system, talking about the different planets, and sharing what they know about space 🌎

To extend their learning at home, you could look at the night sky together, read a space-themed story, or talk about the planets and stars they have been learning about this week 🌙⭐

💧Water Spray Bottle Fun! 🦁

Today the children enjoyed exploring with water spray bottles, using them to gently spray our plants and savanna and jungle animals. This engaging activity helped develop their hand strength, coordination, and fine motor skills while encouraging them to care for living things 🐘

The children loved pretending to give the animals a cool drink and helping the plants grow, sparking lots of imaginative conversations about nature, habitats, and the importance of water. 🌱💧

A simple activity with so many learning opportunities and plenty of smiles along the way! 😊

🚀 Sculpture Making with Recyclable Materials 🐙 Today the children explored their creativity by making sculptures using recyclable materials with Cynthia!

They carefully selected different boxes, tubes, cartons and other recycled items to create their own unique models ♻️

The children made an octopus, a rocket, and a flying jet. As they worked, they developed their fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities and creativity, discussing their ideas and finding ways to join materials together! ✨

Our maths activities encourage children to build confidence with counting, number recognition, problem-solving, and matching skills in a fun and engaging way. Wishing all our wonderful families a lovely, bright, and happy Easter filled with smiles and sweet moments 🐥🌼

A fun and creative activity for little hands! The children enjoyed making beautiful cards using dry pasta, paint, glue and paintbrushes. 🎨

They explored different textures and shapes while carefully sticking the pasta onto their cards and decorating them with bright colours. Activities like this help support creativity, imagination and fine motor skills while allowing children to express themselves through art.

We love seeing their unique creations and the pride they feel in their work! ✨
