Our sensory garden area is loved by the nursery children and is available to them throughout their outdoor sessions year round. It has been designed to appeal to all of the senses as we have a smell area with herbs and different smelling plants, a texture area with plants with different leaf and seed textures, a sound area with bamboos and plants the wind blows through and a sight area with plants with different colour and shape flowers and blossoms. It is also a natural habitat for various bugs and insects which the children like to look for.

What a wonderful response to our call for donations to Lewisham Food Bank as part of our Harvest Class Brunches.
Our parents have gone above and beyond with their generosity and all donations are gratefully received.
It was wonderful to welcome parents back into the Nursery garden last week to enjoy these events.

Thank you :)

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Royal Wedding breakfast last week, we hope you enjoyed it as much as the children.
The children in garden room discussed the royal wedding and this led on to conversations about family weddings, thank you to all the parents who sent in photos of their weddings or photos of family weddings. They made play cakes from sponges, shaving foam icing and pompoms and also made a real cake to share.
We looked at the colours in the Union Jack flag and mixed the colours to see what other colours could be made.
