Our sensory garden area is loved by the nursery children and is available to them throughout their outdoor sessions year round. It has been designed to appeal to all of the senses as we have a smell area with herbs and different smelling plants, a texture area with plants with different leaf and seed textures, a sound area with bamboos and plants the wind blows through and a sight area with plants with different colour and shape flowers and blossoms. It is also a natural habitat for various bugs and insects which the children like to look for.

What a wonderful response to our call for donations to Lewisham Food Bank as part of our Harvest Class Brunches.
Our parents have gone above and beyond with their generosity and all donations are gratefully received.
It was wonderful to welcome parents back into the Nursery garden last week to enjoy these events.
Thank you :)

Here are a few of the potatoes that we have harvested that the children in Garden Room have grown.
The children have helped to plant the seed potatoes, water the growing plants and pull them up and hunt for the new potatoes. We will be cooking and eating them tomorrow.
