Our sensory garden area is loved by the nursery children and is available to them throughout their outdoor sessions year round. It has been designed to appeal to all of the senses as we have a smell area with herbs and different smelling plants, a texture area with plants with different leaf and seed textures, a sound area with bamboos and plants the wind blows through and a sight area with plants with different colour and shape flowers and blossoms. It is also a natural habitat for various bugs and insects which the children like to look for.

Treetops have helped to make tea today with Olivia; they have made pizza pinwheels, helping to make the dough, spread the tomatoes and cheese.
Into the oven and then, mmmm, delicious.

We were lucky enough to have the lovely ladies from Magical Brushes come into Garden Room and Sunshine Room today to face paint and do glitter tattoos for a child's birthday and leaving party. The children had lots of fun, and as you can see, some of the adults did too.
