Paddington the Musical Day🐻🎼❤️

Last Friday our community enjoyed a relaxed performance of Paddington the Musical. It was a wonderful time together and a beautiful performance.

This day was made possible by Weil, Gotshal and Manges LLP, which funded our trip.

"Thank you for inviting us to Paddington the Musical. I cannot put into words how happy my son was. He was absolutely mesmerised by the performances. Using his speech tablet, he commented on how much he loved the dance moves, and he was opening his mouth in awe throughout the show.

Thank you very much, for making him so happy."

Join us on Saturday September 26th to engage with certified therapists, utilising music-making, signing, and movement to provide a sensory-rich experience tailored to individual needs.

Our virtual music therapy is accessible to all, regardless of musical skill or instrument availability.

As part of our sessions, young people aged 11-30 collaborate to write original songs inspired by their ideas, experiences and imagination. In this series, you’ll hear these songs performed by one of our music therapists, bringing each piece to life.

New songs will are released bi-weekly, with a pause during August.

This song is a journey of hunger across the sky the stars we fly we swim and we get home, it's easy to dance to the creativity of the young people we support!

We are very proud of all of them. Whether you’re a family member, a participant, or discovering us for the first time, don’t be shy - enjoy the music and let the beats take you in! 🎶

Come and take part in an inclusive and creative environment; where children and young people with SEND can explore performing arts and engage with their peers and teachers through shared creativity.

Important Update: Online music therapy sessions for 3-10 year old will no longer be running during the Autumn term.

11-20 and 21-30 year olds online sessions will continue to run as usual during the autumn term.

We apologise for the this change in the term schedule. If you have been affected by this please feel free to reach out. We offer other multiple in-person sessions covering that age group.

Meet Suzy, In Deep's new music therapist who will be running the 3 - 10 group at Ashmole Primary school every third Thursday of the month 🌸

Suzy is a qualified music therapist having completed a Master of Music Therapy training programme with Nordoff and Robbins in London. Her background is as a singer specialising in early and contemporary music, and she has also been a singing and recorder teacher in North London.

Suzy has worked with young people in a SEN school, and with adults in a mental health setting, and her therapeutic approach is always music-centred and person centred.
