Ever meet a kid who won't leave the house without their dictionary?

A mum in one of our favourite parenting communities shared that her daughter takes hers everywhere. Grocery store. Haircut. Even bedtime, the stuffed animal's been benched.

Mrs Wordsmith 🤝 Busy Bees

We've recently completed a pilot collaboration with Busy Bees, one of the UK's most trusted early years childcare providers with over 1,000 settings nationwide.

Together, we brought our vocabulary-building resources into their Tunbridge Wells, Horsham and Lewes settings to see how playful, rich language learning fits into everyday nursery life.
The results, and the smiles, speak for themselves.

We're so grateful to the wonderful educators at Busy Bees for partnering with us on this.

Starting today, Narrative Journey is free to download, and every week we're setting a new theme for you to hunt down in the wild.

First up: Setting.

Take one of these words out into the world with you this week: coastal, rugged, picturesque, quaint, bustling, towering, shimmering, secluded, overgrown, lush, twilight, moonlit. Snap a photo or video of it in action, wherever you find it, and share it with us by tagging us on social media to enter.
