To all our dedicated colleagues in the civil service and the wider community, the Civil Service College would like to wish you a joyous Mid-Autumn Festival filled with love, light, and prosperity. May your aspirations soar as high as the moon in the sky!🏮🍂

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a time for family reunion and celebration. People come together to feast on mooncakes, admire the full moon, and play with lanterns. Mooncakes are a special pastry filled with sweet or savory fillings, and they are often shared with friends and family as a symbol of good luck and prosperity.

The Mid-Autumn Festival also has a rich history and mythology associated with it. One popular legend tells the story of Chang’e, a goddess who flew to the moon to escape an evil warlord. She is often depicted as a beautiful woman holding a jade rabbit, and she is a symbol of the moon and fertility.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated in many countries around the world, including China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Vietnam, Japan, Korea, and Singapore. In each country, the festival has its own unique traditions and customs. However, the overall message of the festival is the same: to celebrate family, friends, and the harvest season. 🌕 🎂 🎉
