For years, I thought getting results meant being stricter, doing more, and saying no to the things I enjoyed.
As a competitor for 4 years đź‘™, that mindset served a purpose.
But over the last couple of years, I’ve learned something far more valuable…
For most women, chasing that extra 1% isn’t worth sacrificing their happiness, social life, or relationship with food.
And that’s coming from someone who’s lived both sides.
These days, I lift weights. I get my steps in. I prioritise protein and nutritious foods. I sleep and rest and take care of my body and work hard in the gym, but I don't stress if I'm not "perfect" or bang on track
I also enjoy roast dinners, desserts, holidays, meals out, and making memories with the people I love.
I still feel confident in a bikini.
I still feel great in a dress.
I still take care of my health.
But I no longer feel guilty for enjoying life.
Because fitness should enhance your life—not become your life.
The all-or-nothing approach has its place if you’re stepping on stage or want to be lean or fit a certain body composition for a photo shoot.
But for most women, the goal isn’t perfection.
It’s building a strong, healthy, confident body while still having the freedom to enjoy the moments that matter most. And so many women are stuck in the all or nothing approach they can't sustain.
I’ve lived this way for the last two years, and I’ve helped countless women do the same.
That’s the kind of balance I help women create. 💛

I used to walk into the weights area of the gym when I first started 8 years ago convinced I didn’t belong there—like it was a “men’s space” and I was intruding.
But that fear wasn’t truth. It was conditioning. It was limiting self beliefs
And I don’t want my daughter to ever inherit that same belief.
Because if we don’t question these old narratives, we pass them on without even realising. And I refuse to raise a girl who shrinks herself in spaces designed to make her stronger.
The gym builds more than muscle—it builds confidence, resilience, health, and self-belief. It’s a space for women and girls too. We belong there.
