**Reflecting on a Journey That Began with a Vision in 2016…**

As two post-CCT, post-FRCS surgeons based in London, UK—my husband, a liver transplant surgeon, and I, a bariatric surgeon—our shared passion for surgical education has always extended beyond the operating theatre.

In 2016, we launched our very first **MRCS OSCE Preparation Course**, driven by a simple but powerful goal: to make high-quality, UK-standard surgical training more accessible to our colleagues in Pakistan. We were humbled by the response—and proud to be the *first* to bring such a course to the region.

Since then, it's been an incredible journey of growth, commitment, and impact. With each session, we’ve fine-tuned our teaching, expanded our reach, and most importantly, seen hundreds of aspiring surgeons succeed. One of our proudest achievements has been working closely with the Royal Colleges to help bring the **official MRCS exam** to Pakistan—a historic step for surgical training in the region.

As we now prepare for our **8th MRCS OSCE session this October**, we reflect on the trust you've placed in us and the community we’ve built together. To those aspiring to take the MRCS exam: whether you’re just starting out or looking for that final push, we’re here to guide you with insight, structure, and mentorship built on real experience.

Stay tuned for course details—and if you’ve been part of our journey before, we’d love to hear where you are now. Let’s continue to grow, support, and inspire one another. 🇵🇰✈️🇬🇧

With gratitude,
Miss Hafsa Younus & Mr Aamir Nawaz
