Having the recommendation from Jemima Parry-Jones MBE is something that we are incredibly proud of, our thanks go out to her for speaking with us and reviewing our Raptor Awards material. It was a pleasure to spend the day with her , Nightshade and Quince , talking birds , Raptor Awards and conservation, as well as the past, present and future of falconry, including some very fond memories! You can watch the full videos on our new and improved website, linked on our socials ( https://raptorawards.co.uk ) Here we talk through careers , ‘grandfather’s rights’ , our junior raptor awards programme and more.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand at PestEx 2026.

We look forward to further working with the pest control industry to make sure those who use birds of prey in bird control maintain a high standard of welfare for these incredibly specialist animals.

It was great speaking with everyone, including those who have nothing to do with birds but still took part in our 5 CPD questions as part of the Knowledge Trail and learned more about our mission, using birds in bird control and bird of prey welfare.
