You don’t have to leave the next interview guessing.

Use the question I mentioned in the post to get clarity.

Life gets easier when you seek answers instead of making things up in your head.

Yes, I did work hard and invested in my skills.

And hustled to get there, but I am in the growth season of my career, and I am willing to do what it takes to grow.

The scariest part isn’t failing.

It’s realizing you’ve been capable of more this entire time.

You’re not stuck because you’re not good enough.

You’re stuck because you’ve convinced yourself that playing small is safer than betting on yourself.

But here’s what no one tells you:

staying where you are feels safe, but it’s actually the riskiest move of all.

While you’re waiting for “the right time,” other people with your exact skills are landing roles paying 2-3x more.

Same skills. Different environment. Different life.

Stop lying to yourself about why you’re not moving forward.

Get locked in.

Master the skills that are in demand.

Move to a high-growth industry where you can learn and earn fast.

Become so good that they can’t ignore you and see your career fly.

For the first 5 years, I was in the slow-growth industry. My income was stable, but I didn’t move to the UK to live an average life and moan about taxes.

So I switched to a high-growth industry, worked long hours, and gained a ton of tech sales skills that allowed me to change my life.

Now I am moving into the world of AI automation because I am willing to bet the future will belong to the ones who will get into the world of AI.

Use the STAR method to craft your experience.

Spend 50% of your time explaining what action you took to showcase your skills.

Bonus: Share the story related to skills mentioned in the job descriptions.

This will show that you will not need handholding to get the job done.

You got this all the best.

The last thing you want to say is - Oh, I wish I would have known that.

Good thing you can spot a bad boss if you follow simple steps.
Even spending 15 minutes doing these steps save you from a toxic workplace.

• Ask yourself what kind of manager you want in your current career phase

• Check how their team have performed

•Don’t ignore your gut feelings

• Check their Linkedin / Socials

• Meet the team they are managing.

Remember: People don’t leave companies. People leave bad bosses.

But it’s your responsibility to spot toxic bosses in the interview process.

You got this. All the best.
