At The Co-operative Childcare we never underestimate how difficult a decision it is to leave your child in the care of others and our aim is to ensure that you have all the information you need to make this very important decision. The Co-operative Childcare nursery is a fun, stimulating, safe and secure environment for your child with an excellent outdoor area, and we pride ourselves on our warm

and welcoming atmosphere. The nursery has its own garden area which has recently been re-developed to improve the outdoor facilities for the children. We also have a separate area for the 0-2 year olds, giving them access to the outdoors in a safe and secure environment. Children are encouraged to carry out a range of physical activities each day and we have great facilities for them to do this. We have a large built in sand pit and water area along with an outdoor climbing frame, allowing the children to experience many different activities each day. We also give the children opportunities to learn about the different seasons, growth and the world around them, with a specifically designed gardening/planting area.

Christmas time is here, it's a jolly good time of the year. This Christmas at hackney we took part in a few awesome activities with parents, staff and children. We had a range of activities, such as making Christmas crackers, having hot chocolate day and secret Santa.

The preschool children have taken the opportunity to explore the community. For the month of june the children had an interest in the animals that lay eggs and the other that carry their baby in their belly. To help with their learning they went to Mudchute farm. On the way there they spoke about the different vehicles used to move around, and how to be safe on the road. They had a picnic at the farm and were really tired on the way back.

On Saturday 28th May we did 2 workshops for parents (looking and school readiness), followed by a BBQ. We had a very good turn ups and i would like to thank all the parents who took time out of their weekend to attend our BBQ. Thank you to all my staff as well who turned go for the day. It was lovely to see parents and staff mingling.
