The Building Blocks of a Seaton House Education🎒

Nursery children are allocated a Key Person for support.☺️

Reception is an exciting step up with more exciting specialist teaching, such as weekly French lessons. 👩‍🏫

For Year 1 and 2, English, maths and reading is completed daily, and the children build a very strong breadth of vocabulary. More dedicated subject learning is introduced and a highlight for many is beginning swimming lessons.📖🏊‍♀️

Building on the strong foundations from Junior House, Year 3 is a particularly significant year - lessons are in different classrooms, children manage their homework diary, and non-verbal and verbal reasoning lessons help prepare the girls for 11+ exams.📝

Progressing through Senior House, more opportunities are introduced such as residential trips, sport fixtures, music performances, and entrepreneurial challenges.🙌

By Year 6, our girls are confident young leaders, ready for the next stage of their education and celebrated for all they have achieved along the way. 🏆

Reminiscing about this year's Arts Festival💭 where we were treated to two evenings of acting, singing, musical performances, creative writing and art pieces. An incredible breadth of talent!🤩

Year 5 and 6’s end of year production, Annie Jr, was simply outstanding. Heartwarming, gripping and hilarious, the children really performed to the highest 'West End' standard. Well done, everyone!🧡🐶🪣🧽

This week, we are holding a sponsored read at school.📚 There will be no homework set, so instead, pupils can enjoy reading a good book and raise money at the same time!
We are raising money for our school charity – the children’s ward at The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
We look forward to raising lots of money to exceed our target of £5,000 for this worthwhile cause, and to lots of lovely reading! 🤩
