Family Fitness Games 2026🤩 an exciting, fun and challenging afternoon of friendly competition for our school community🙌. Thank you to all of the family members who participated - see you next year!

Our Year 6 girls prospered at their 'Make £5 Grow' event - a fun education programme for budding entrepreneurs, designed to encourage creativity and develop problem-solving, managing money and teamwork.👔💼

Each girl was given £5 to use to set up their own mini-business.

In groups, they came up with a bright idea, made a plan, used their £5 to develop their product and sold them to the school community at our 'market' for a profit. 👩‍💼

Once the profits have been counted, the girls get to use the money to fund an event of their choice!🤩

Well done, girls.👏

Year 5 had a great time in French last week, acting out a scene in a French café.🇫🇷☕The girls introduced themselves, ordered food and drinks, and even asked for the bill! It was a fun and engaging lesson, with some girls dressing up. It was lovely to see everyone taking part with enthusiasm and growing confidence.👏

The Primary Fitness Games Final last week was a fun and challenging morning made up of four workouts. All of the children were fantastic and resilient team players. 🏃‍♀
The 8 finalist schools were: Cleves School, Warren Mead Infant and Junior School Partnership, Notre Dame School Cobham, Seaton House School, Banstead Preparatory School, Great Bookham School, The Hayes School and Hurlingham School and Nursery ⭐

Year 3 went to MathsWorld! Mehek, Niara and Summer wrote about their experience:

"The bubble machine🫧 was very popular but we also enjoyed lots of other fun activities. There was a cool morse code machine where we could send messages to each other, and we even played chess. There were lots of interactive puzzles and code-breaking games too, which were really interesting.

"We also visited the shop and bought some games, books and puzzles.🧩

"We had an amazing time and would love to go again!"
