Sun's out and I'm pulling a wine gun from the cellar. 'Gun' in wine terminology means stunning bottle worthy of high quality. Fancy a Friday tip? Why not... As BBQ season is now on us try adding smoky flavour to your sizzling meat by throwing some Rosemary on the coals. Works a treat! Happy weekend all.

Here's a little wine tip for you all on this sunny Thursday if you want to know how to chill wine in break neck speed! Beats the fridge or freezer every time...
1) Put your bottle in a bucket of sorts
2) Pour over ice and add a good handful of salt
3) Top up with water
Why does this work? Liquid transfers heat quicker than pockets of air which is why water is key here. The salt helps to lower the freezing point of your ice-water mixture so there’s more ice melting in the mixture; melting requires energy, and the closest place to find that energy is your bottle. Energy leaving your wine more quickly means chilled wine, tout de suite.
