From classroom to stage: pupils in Years 6 & 7 took part in two lively plays, one in French and one in Spanish, getting properly immersed in both languages. Several boys stepped into the cast and delivered their lines with real confidence and poise. Opportunities like this build speaking fluency, performance skills and the self-discipline it takes to practise and improve.

Saturday’s Athletics Finals at Tooting Bec gave us far more than medals and times; it showcased the values at the heart of Dulwich Prep & Senior. From the first race, boys encouraged teammates and congratulated competitors, no matter the result. Older year groups set a powerful example, showing humility in victory and resilience in defeat. The closing staff vs parents vs pupils relay captured our community spirit, with smiles as wide as the finish line. Sport, character and community, all on one track. 🏅🤝

Joy, teamwork and determination lit up our Years 1 & 2 Sports Day last week, as our boys showed what true sportsmanship looks like. From first across the line to last over the finish, Courage, Humility and Self-Discipline were on full display. Every Legend (House) cheered for each runner. Congratulations to our winning Legend, Pegasus and well done to all who ran, jumped and encouraged so brilliantly.

Hands up if you love a quiz 🙋♂️ Year 3 certainly did during their Cornish Seal Sanctuary webinar! Between three lively true/false quizzes, engaging videos and a live Q&A, the boys were fully involved from start to finish. They discovered fascinating facts about Common and Grey seals, Puffins and the realities of rescue and rehabilitation. Learning was active, joyful and memorable, exactly how we believe prep education should feel.

Our second group of Year 4 boys arrived at their residential and dived straight into adventure, exploring the woods and building dens together. From teamwork to problem-solving, it has been character-building in the best way. Last night’s BBQ of homemade burgers and fresh farm produce was a huge hit. All boys slept soundly and are fuelled by a cooked breakfast, ready for hands-on farming and river exploration today. A wonderful blend of outdoor learning, friendship and fun.
